On the afternoon of August 27, the Press Center for the events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War organized its first reporting trip. Nearly 200 domestic and foreign journalists visited the Museum of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the Lugou Bridge. During the trip, the journalists toured the exhibition themed "For National Liberation and World Peace". The reporting trip presented the historical facts of Chinese people firing the first shots in the World Anti-Fascist War, opening up the main Eastern battlefield of the global war against fascism, thwarting the fascist plot for world domination with arduous resistance and sharing international support for the resistance against Japanese aggression. Journalists participating in the trip experienced the call to "remember history, honor the martyrs, cherish peace, create the future and join hands to build a community with a shared future for humanity," which constitutes the core message of the events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. Journalists from more than 130 domestic and foreign media outlets of over 60 countries and regions participated in the reporting trip.
