Brief Introduction of the Press Center
The Press Center for the events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War provides services to the journalists covering the events from Chinese mainland and overseas. The services include issuing press cards, arranging reporting activities, providing telecommunication facilities and information services and responding to inquiries about media coverage of the events.

Service Items
■ Press Card Issuing
For journalists from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, please collect your press cards with your valid identification cards at the Reception for Journalists from Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan.
Foreign journalists are to collect your press cards at the Reception for Foreign Journalists. Short-term visitors with a J-2 visa must present your passport bearing the visa, resident foreign journalists must present your Press Card (R) issued by the Department of Press, Communication and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, and Chinese employees of foreign news services in China must present your national ID card and Chinese employee card issued by designated organizations providing services to foreign nationals.
Notices on press card collection will be published on the official website, WeChat account, Weibo account and Toutiao account of the Press Center.
■ Press Events
The Press Center will hold press conferences and meet-ups, and organize visiting activities for journalists. Detailed information will be made available on the official website, WeChat account, Sina Weibo account and Toutiao account of the Press Center.
■ Information Service
The Press Center will provide texts, pictures and video materials and online information related to the commemorative events.
■ Audio and Video Signal Service
Signals related to the commemorative events, provided by China Media Group, will be shared free of charge.
■ Photo Service
Real-time photos related to the commemorative events, provided by Xinhua News Agency, will be shared free of charge.
■ Transmission and Telecommunication Service
You could enjoy communication service such as free Internet, and paid telephone & fax.
■ Tea and Coffee
Free tea, coffee and snacks are available at the Media Center.
■ Medical Service
Medical services are available.

■ Press Conference and Visiting Activities
The Press Center will hold several press conferences, meet-ups, and visiting activities. If you are interested, please apply via the Press Center's official website. Detailed information will be released on the official website, WeChat account, Sina Weibo account and Toutiao account of the Press Center.
■ Events in Tian'anmen Square
The Press Center will arrange for some journalists to cover the commemorative events in Tian'anmen Square. Details will be announced separately.
Reminders
To facilitate your reporting activities, the Press Center would like to kindly remind you of the following:
● The press card is required for entering the Press Center and participating in activities organized by the Press Center. Please keep your press card safe and do not lend it to anyone else under any circumstances. In case you lost it, please immediately inform the Journalist Reception Team of the Press Center.
● Please wear your press card at all times. Please abide by China's laws, regulations and relevant rules on news reporting, and comply with on-the-spot instructions.
● When participating in activities organized by the Press Center, please go through the security check at the entrance. For your convenience, please do not bring unnecessary equipment.
● Please take care of your cameras and other reporting tools, as well as your personal belongings.
Mobile phones off or set them on the vibrate mode to avoid disruption of on-site activities.
● The working languages for press conferences are Chinese and English.
● For photographers and cameramen, please set up your tripods in the designated areas when conducting reporting activities.
